Comparing my plate to ChooseMyPlate.gov


This is how the Indian Plate compares to the recommended ChooseMyPlate.gov

You can substitute white rice with brown rice, roti or quinoa and sweet with fruits (preferred).

The plate includes five varieties of Vegetables:

 Asparagus, Red-leaves, Tomatoes, Beetroot and, Beetroot leaves.
Exclude sweet and include Fruits (Preferred).
Diary is yoghurt.
Grains is Rice.
Protein is Dhal.
